Agro project: Hope for the future
We have fully completed the distribution of seedlings and seeds, and now we are looking forward to the harvest. Some of our “agronomists” are already starting to harvest.
The Agro Project is not just a job, it is a hope for the future of our agricultural sector. We are investing in growing plants that will provide food and stability for our villagers.
Thanks to our joint efforts and expert approach, we are confident that the harvest will be good and our hope for the future will be strengthened.
KHERSON REGION
Kherson: help and reconstruction
Unfortunately, the shelling does not cease, and its consequences are felt everywhere. Let us tell you the story of our volunteer going through multiple troubles, yet does not lose faith in the best.
Consequences of a bomb attack: a first-hand account
When we entered that house after it was completely flooded, we had no idea of where to start. We were in complete despair at seeing the conditions in which people lived. But we didn’t lose heart and started small: we removed the mold, dried the rooms, supplied some building materials, and installed the windows. All of that was done in the complete absence of electricity. We brought a generator and refueled it every day until the power supply was restored. Then we installed the doors, put the walls in order, and helped bring in the furniture. We also brought fuel briquettes to keep the family warm in winter.
It seemed that everything was getting better. Oleksandr, the owner, and his mother Larysa planned to start reconstruction in the summer. But the massive shelling brought destruction again: one of the shell fragments broke through the ceiling and damaged a window. We saw the man’s arms just dropping. This was not the first time we encountered such a situation when people were desperate and could not get rid of this mindset on their own.
We decided to help with the reconstruction at once. After two weeks of waiting, our order arrived. We installed the window and closed the hole in the ceiling. Oleksandr immediately revived and started planning the restoration work for the summer. His hope returned, and he realized that the team of the EO “IBF “Step with Hope” would always be there for him.
Support and help
This week we also changed the pipe for Ms. Oleksandra. She was left without water and had no money to replace the connection. The pipes are leaking because of the constant shelling, the ground is shaking so much that pipes in people’s basements and apartments are bursting. We helped to replace the pipe and the tap so that people could have water again.
Besides that, we brought children’s clothes, medicines, and canned food there. And we also refueled 12 generators to support local residents in this difficult time.
We also delivered cat food and medicine to a woman. We disinfested 13 rooms, including three large basements, and disinsected one room. We took away one dehumidifier, partially closed the roof damaged by the shelling and the flood that occurred on Wednesday. We delivered things to a child in the region, replaced broken water pipes in one house, and installed a dryer. We replaced a window broken by bombing. We delivered a food package and medicines to one person.
It is extremely important to be there for people in such situations. Without outside support, people can fall into despair. That is why we are here in Kherson and do not leave the locals alone with their troubles.
Beryslav: Gifts under fire
This week the children of three villages of Kherson region were waiting for us to some with gifts from the foundation. But war crimes were committed there.
The realities of war
According to information sources, in the Kherson region, Russian troops once again attacked the civilian infrastructure of the Beryslav and Kherson districts. The attacks were carried out with artillery, mortars, multiple launch rocket systems, as well as with the help of drones and aircraft. Kherson, Novotiahinka, Veletenske, Chornobaivka, Ivanivka, Sadove, Antonivka, Beryslav, Rakivka, Vysoke, Mykhailivka and Burgunka were affected by the combined shelling.
As a result of the attacks, 25 properties were damaged: 19 private houses, an administrative building, a hotel, two warehouses, and a car. Air strikes with guided bombs on Beryslav, Rakivka, Vysoke, Ivanivka, Novotiahinka, and Veletenske caused significant damage to private houses and warehouses. In Rakivka, at least 8 residential buildings, a “Point of Invincibility”, an administrative building, and a car were damaged.
DONETSK REGION: Help and support
This week in Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka, in addition to the usual distribution of bread, eyeglasses, and food, we also distributed candy for children. Maria from Kostiantynivka shares her story:
“Last week, a shell hit our house. Thank God, everyone is alive. But our child was injured. He underwent 2 surgeries and still has some scars. Thank you for your help and care for our family and children.”
Kramatorsk and Sloviansk
On Tuesday one of the houses in Kramatorsk was hit by a shell. The neighboring houses were heavily damaged. The house, used as a shelter for volunteers and humanitarian aid distribution, is situated very close. This is the roof of this house, and this is the rubble that is lying everywhere around.
But, despite everything, the distribution of humanitarian aid took place anyway. The locals came and we gave out everything we had planned.
In these times of tribulation, when every day brings new challenges, we continue supporting those who need our help. Our mission is to be there for them, to help them, and to give them hope, even in the darkest of times.

The work of the volunteer center in the Kamianske district has been seething for the past two weeks. The volunteers have been performing an incredible number of tasks, providing food parcels and bread to those in need.
Natalia Viktorovna, a resident of Siversk, Donetsk region, shares her story:
“In May 2022, the war came to our city. My daughter and I had to stay in the basement for some time. After another shelling, we decided to get out of the city to our friends in Kamianske. God bless the sponsors and the whole team, and let the war end soon. We bow low to the people who help us in this difficult time.”

Charity dinners for the needy and displaced persons have become a good tradition. People truly appreciate the opportunity to taste homemade food. In addition to helping with food, we provide warmth and support.
“Healing Mental Trauma” program helps people recover from stress and negativity, and needlework classes bring relaxation and enjoyment. Volunteers also help the needy and displaced people with laundry, providing necessary assistance in all aspects of life.
In addition, we received a letter that brought new emotions and feelings to our hearts:
“Dear volunteers! We wish to express our sincere gratitude for your concern and willingness to help us in our most difficult moments.
