Unfortunately, the war has forced many children to grow up too quickly. Volunteers of the “Step with Hope” Charitable Foundation often encounter serious, frightened, or sorrowful gazes from children. Genuine laughter and bright smiles, which are the most natural expressions of childhood, have become a rare treasure, deeply missed by our hearts.
At the ICF “Step with Hope” regional aid centers, every distribution of assistance includes special support for children. Educational activities, fun games, treats, and workshops are regularly organized, aimed at the development and entertainment of children of all ages.
Thanks to our dear partners, the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), as well as you, our compassionate friends and sponsors, we were able to hold real Christmas celebrations and bring warmth to the hearts and happy smiles to our precious children. These are children who have lost their homes, friends, health, and even parents due to the war.
In total, we gifted over 1,250 presents.
Over 1,250 children experienced the true joy of Christmas.
