Charity Lunches

In Kamianske, a kind and caring tradition has been established—every Sunday, the regional aid center organizes charity lunches for the most vulnerable members of the community.

On average, 50 to 70 people attend these lunches.
The meals always take place in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Volunteers from the “Step with Hope” Charitable Foundation not only prepare nutritious and delicious meals but also serve everyone with great attention and care. Many of these volunteers are individuals who previously sought help from the center themselves.

One such dedicated volunteer is Liudmyla Mykolaivna. She is 69 years old.

She first heard that the “Step with Hope” Charitable Foundation was providing aid and came to sign up for the humanitarian program. Later, she joined the “Overcoming Hardship” program. She enjoyed it so much that she decided she wanted not only to receive help but also to help others.

Now, Liudmyla Mykolaivna actively participates in all the foundation’s programs: she helps distribute bread to low-income families, people with disabilities, displaced persons, and large families.

And every week, she cooks meals for those who come to the charity lunches.

“I feel so happy now; I feel needed. I run around, trying to do something for people, and I get so much satisfaction myself. I see that people are grateful and happy.”

Don’t lose hope—join us in doing good!
