The ICF “Step of Hope” participated in an important meeting.
The event was organized by the Coordination Center for the Development of Family Upbringing and Child Care. The main goal of the meeting was to discuss ways to implement the Strategy for Ensuring Every Child’s Right to Grow Up in a Family Environment.
Key Strategic Objectives of the Initiative:
- Strengthening the Capacity of Families with Children: Enhancing the ability of families to provide care and upbringing for their children.
- Ensuring Conditions for Orphans and Children Deprived of Parental Care: Including children with disabilities, to be raised in family settings.
- Creating Conditions for the Return and Integration of Forcibly Displaced, Deported, and Evacuated Children: Facilitating their reintegration into family environments.
- Upholding Children’s Rights and Preserving Resources During Institutional Transformation: Ensuring that children’s rights are respected during systemic changes.
- Socialization and Integration of Children with Experience in Alternative Care: Supporting children who have been in foster care or institutional settings.
- Organizational and Legal Conditions for Strategy Implementation: Establishing the necessary frameworks to ensure the strategy’s success.
This meeting was a crucial step in strengthening collaboration between civil society organizations and state institutions, ensuring that every child can realize their right to a family and harmonious development. Together, we can create a future where no child is left without the love and care of a family.
